We're About...

Our Mission

The MWAA mission is to operate partnerships on behalf of MWAA, to improve the community through economic development, youth development, youth employment, the effective reutilization of land and to provide year around fresh produce primarily for partnerships and inner-city consumption to meet the need in food deserts in our own city and abroad. MWAA for the purpose of all Toledo and Lucas County and Ohio will build and maintain a banquet hall with classrooms and conference rooms for educational programing and to create a great meeting place for the communities we serve. We work tirelessly to preserve our world for future generations.

Our Goals

  • We believe the concept of giving the fish today while teaching the skill trade of fishing for tomorrow. We promote education to know the Causes and the solutions. The U.S. Department of Agriculture estimated 13.6 million people live in food deserts in the U.S. of those people, 82% are in urban areas. By funding, both addressing the cause and education for the solution, we work from both sides for transformation in favor of upward mobility.

Bridge to Futures

  • We build bridges to futures. The effective development and employment of the youth and the effective reutilization of land both ties the youth to their own responsibility of environmental and life preservations. Ten percent (10%) of census tracts in the U.S. are food deserts and 13.5 million people have limited access to healthy foods. Donate now to invest in a future where we aren't just cleaning up, but actively working to prevent the problem. Together, we are stronger. Join success, make a difference.
